Materials for all birds: -Bodies: white Styrofoam carved with hot wire and serrated knife -Feet/legs: wire of assorted gauges -Beaks and claws: Magic Sculpt (2-part resin air-hardening sculpting medium) over wire, sanded and painted with acrylic paint and/or nail polish -Feathers: Crepe paper (I use a special heavy duty German craft crepe paper, available online at Castle in the Air ). I have to paint a lot of my own colors of paper, and all of the extra spots or feather color shading with acrylic paint

I do not currently take custom orders for birds. I do take suggestions: if you might be interested in a particular species of bird, you may suggest it and I might some day decide to make one. If I do make one, I can let you know and you may then decide if you are still interested in buying it.
